Birth Justice Warriors is submitting a letter of intent in collaboration with North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center for funding from Merck for Mothers for the “Safer Childbirth Cities” Initiative to Support Locally Created Solutions to Improve Maternal Health and Reduce Disparities…Birth Justice Warriors will be spreading the word at the Fidelis Care/St. Brigid’s Parish 11th Annual Health Fair on Sunday November 11 from 10am-2pm in the St. Brigid’s Auditorium at 101 Maple Avenue in Westbury…Planned Parenthood Nassau County will be sponsoring a screening and panel discussion of the documentary Death by Delivery–stay tuned for updates…We are working on developing ‘birth justice’ informed Childbirth Education classes for families of color in Nassau County in early 2019…Interested in having a Birth Justice Warrior training at your site?
